  • What brought you to try Precision Breathing Training and the Neuropeak Pro NTEL BELT?I have long been interested in self development related tools and I first became aware of Neuropeak Pro from reading an article about a pro golfer who worked with them to improve performance on the course. Seeing the overlap with poker I figured I would give it a try to see if it could help with focus, mental clarity, stress management etc.
  • What makes the NTEL BELT different?The NTEL BELT is a really fantastic piece of equipment. I have been working with Neuropeak Pro since before the belt existed and the technology has really come a long way. The portability and ease of use of the NTEL BELT makes it so easy to incorporate sessions into any schedule. I frequently aim to arrive at a tournament ~20min early and do a session in my car before playing or on dinner break for example. As for what sets it apart from other products, as far as I know there isn’t really any competitor offering the same kind of training equipment.

Being able to quickly and consistently balance my autonomic nervous system within just a handful of intentional breaths is a great tool for resetting and refocusing whenever I feel like I need it.
  • When do you most often use the NTEL BELT? Typically I’ll use it some time in the morning and I’ve put in enough time with the techniques by now that I don’t need to be watching the pacer so I’ll often combine it with some other kind of meditative practice/affirmation etc. If I’m going to be playing a tournament I like to train as close as possible to competing which can mean doing a session in the parking lot as I mentioned earlier.
