SCIENCE-BACKED APPROACH

Precision Breathing and HRV training improves performance with a “bottom up” approach that syncs the rhythm of the user’s heart with their breathing structure. 1. Build Your Foundation

Precision Breathing Training

Breathing is the foundation of our programs and is a powerful tool for improving performance. As something we can actively control, breathing is a major influencer of how we respond to what is occurring in the environment we are in. Our breathing has the power to move our autonomic nervous system in the direction of a sympathetic “fight or flight” response or a parasympathetic “rest and recovery” response. The goal of precision breathing training is to help balance these two competing responses and improve your ability in the moment to manage stress and perform.

2. Improve Your Performance

Heart Rate Variability (HRV) Training

With the fundamentals of precision breathing in place, we introduce heart rate variability (HRV) training. By measuring the slight time differences that occur between each heartbeat, your HRV training provides a measurement of the balance and resiliency of your autonomic nervous system and acts as an effective tool for helping to maximize your precision breathing training. A high HRV training score is an indicator that your system is balanced and is capable of its best performance.

3. Next Level Training

Brain Performance Training

For clients who choose to engage in one of our brain performance training programs we utilize neurofeedback. With neurofeedback training our technology monitors your brainwave activity (the naturally occurring electrical patterns in your brain) and, based on your customized training protocol, provides feedback on when your brain has too much or too little of a particular pattern. Over time and with repetition, neurofeedback sessions train your brain to operate more efficiently at its optimal speed, helping you perform at your best.

Taking it to the Course

Andy oversees all golf strategy and business development on the PGA TOUR, Korn Ferry Tour, and LPGA TOUR for Neuropeak Pro.

During his 10 years as a professional golfer, Andy landed a worldwide win while utilizing the Neuropeak Pro program himself. This allows him to help elite golfers implement their peak performance training with first-hand experience and understanding.

Working closely with Neuropeak Pro’s science team, he ensures all clients receive individualized training and access to cutting-edge performance technology and training protocols. Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management & Communication from the University of Michigan and is also a certified pilot.
