My name is Peter Stewart, and I wear a couple of hats for Neuropeak Pro. I am a member of our business development team and I also handle IT, inventory, and client data processing! I started working for Neuropeak Pro in August 2018 as an intern during my senior year at Hope College then started working full time in July.
What’s something you love about your job?
I love that service and changing lives is that heart of what we do. There is no greater mission than trying to serve others and impact their lives. I love that every day I have the opportunity to engage with people and share with them the great work we are doing both in centers and with our remote training. I am grateful to be in position where my work aligns with many of my passions, and I have such incredible people to work with every day.
Tell us a bit about your background. Where did you go to school? What did you study?
I graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan this past May. I received my degree in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. I played hockey all four years and was proud to have served as a team captain for three years. One of the greatest moments of my life was when we won the National Championship in 2018!
Are you an introvert or an extrovert? How does that help you do your job?
Very much an extrovert. I get my energy from being around people. It helps my job because I am connecting with potential clients, organizations, and sports teams every day and I’m comfortable striking up a conversation about brain performance training with anyone. Being an extrovert helps me around the office because I love to collaborate with our team members.
What’s the nerdiest thing you do in your free time?
The nerdiest thing I do in my free time is probably reading about neuroscience and the nervous system. I’m fascinated by the field and I enjoy learning about all of the latest research breakthroughs and work that people are doing.
